**Professional Intern - Operations Analyst - Birchwood Reconditioning Centre
**Full-Time**, **TERM** Summer Internship Position

**Start date**: April/May (Flexible), **End Date**: end of August

**Closing date**: March 31st, 2024

The Birchwood Reconditioning Centre has an immediate opportunity for an Operations Analyst Intern to assist in professional duties related to the review, assessment, and development of business processes.

Professional Interns have been an integral part of Birchwood for over 25 years. The professional intern program has evolved to include an immersive experience that focuses on personal and professional development. Our program is designed to create a network of empowered students who gain valuable skills while supporting Birchwood’s purpose. Our internship includes professional development workshops, unique social events, and an opportunity to network with our executive team.

**What You Will Do**:

- Review and process map current scheduling state, incoming unit process and identify areas of opportunity
- Review and process map current approval process and identify constraints
- Create recommendations and work with Leadership teams for implementation
- Create a Process Manual for new user’s

**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge & Experience**
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college
- Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Accounting is considered an asset
- Interest in pursuing a career in business/data analysis, or operations management
- Strong skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly, identify trends and recommend solutions to solving them independently in a timely manner
- Knowledge of dealership and body shop operations is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Lean Principles considered an asset

**Personal Attributes**
- High attention to detail, and proven time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills (in person, on the phone, and written) & ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Valid class 5 driver's license and own transportation to work is required
