Vancouver eFasteners Tools & Supply Ltd. (VEF Supply) is locally owned and independently operated in the Greater Vancouver area as a wholesale distributor for the construction, infrastructure and manufacturing Industries.

Our goal is to enhance business efficiency by providing lower-cost solutions, same or next day delivery, customized in-stock inventory, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services. VEF Supply prides itself on its commitment to delivering unparalleled customer service.

We specialize is Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), catering to both small-scale construction sites and large-scale 10+ year corporate/government infrastructure projects. VEF Supply focuses on maintaining clients’ work sites’ productivity by ensuring products are always in stock and readily available.

Additionally, VEF Supply has a special projects division that specializes in custom cut rods, studs, and various types of fasteners. We offer in-house metal fabrication and manufacturing services for immediate alterations to any fastener or threaded rod products. Clients can benefit from in-house custom cut lengths, pre-cut products, and on-site delivery for maximum efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the business
- Help create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Supervise and train staff members, ensuring they provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and operating the POS system
- Assist with payroll processing

**Skills**:

- Strong budgeting skills to assist with financial planning and control expenses
- Excellent supervisory skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and suppliers
- Marketing knowledge to identify opportunities for sales growth
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Proficiency in operating a POS system for sales transactions
- Sales skills to promote products or services and meet sales targets
- Familiarity with payroll processing procedures
