Insurance Sales Representative

Melo LLP is currently searching for one of our clients for motivated and experienced Insurance Agents to join their team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to clients, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets. This is a great opportunity for team players with strong sales skills and a passion for helping others.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Educate clients on different insurance options and coverage plans
- Provide personalized recommendations based on clients' specific requirements
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Utilize telemarketing strategies to reach out to potential customers
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and other customer service needs
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of proven experience in insurance sales
- Valid OTL or RIBO Licence is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong market knowledge and ability to identify potential customers
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Experience with using the Sandler Sales system is an asset
- Experience selling Life and Living benefits is an asset
- Prior work experience working with Desjardins Insurance is an asset
