The Retail Planning and Optimization team is passionate about empowering our retail teams through data driven insights to unlock exceptional experience for our teams and business. We forecast, plan and optimize our business, ask great questions and solve hard problems through curiosity, collaboration and innovation.

**a day in the life**: what you’ll do
- This role leads our Operational Planning Function which supports our North America store teams in setting and achieving their labour plans inclusive of:

- Creating operational plans at quarter and month level with a combination of excel and cloud based tools driven by machine learning forecasting
- Collaboration with multiple cross functional teams to ensure timely and accurate incorporation of operational changes into labour model
- Leading analyst team to develop and evolve models and planning tools to optimize plans and empower store teams
- Leading analyst team to consult and support store leadership with data driven actionable insight
- Updating engineered labour standards and fixed variable labour assumptions to keep labour demand current with evolving business processes

qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a data driven role with relevant experience in retail
- Demonstrated success in analysing trends, creating executive level reports, and providing actionable data-driven insights
- Strong leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster growth in direct reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings to all levels of the organization
