310 DUMP is looking for an experienced Dispatcher. Experienced in the trucking/waste industry is a benefit but not necessary.

**Your challenge**

This position will coordinate, in the most cost effective and efficient manner, the daily activities of our internal fleet of vehicles and drivers. The Dispatcher will work to facilitate and ensure our highest level of service to all of our customers. Must understand and practice the Company’s values, which includes treating each other with respect and dignity regardless of position and supports personal growth and continuous improvement

**Your role includes but is not limited, to the following**:

- The dispatcher will be responsible for using the latest routing software to establish strategic planning that keep efficiency, time and mileage as their key focus. You will effectively plan and prioritize all loads with correlating disposal sites, you will be a liaison between the drivers and customers, while maintaining supportive communication at all times. You will be able to adjust to last minute changes, work with dispatch and call centre teams, complete invoicing, account updates and other dispatch duties.
- You will innovate, inspire and create ideas that will make our dispatch process and team, more efficient on a daily basis, you will lead by example and be the go to person the team can rely on.
- Communicating with customers and drivers to ensure optimal operations and customer satisfaction
- Will be required to dispatch drivers to specific vehicles and routes as required on a daily basis.
- Will be required to receive and dispatch all daily incoming customer service requests in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Will be required to modify customer route priorities as necessary due to vehicle breakdowns, adverse weather conditions, absent drivers, etc. while maintaining efficiency.
- Will be required to maintain knowledge of customers and their concerns.
- Will be required to work closely with Sales Team to ensure our customer service obligations and their concerns are met.
- Will be required to follow up on queries from customers, drivers and associates in a timely fashion.
- Will be required to track the location of all equipment including, but not limited to, trucks, and roll off/front load containers.
- Will be required to accurately complete all transportation associated paperwork including producing the following days work orders and organizing them for each unit.
- Will be required to work to resolve the day to day issues as well as improve the overall efficiencies of the department.

**Further Qualifications that we are looking for**:

- Someone with excellent communication skills, this is required to clearly convey information over the telephone/computer and to be able to problem solve at a moments notice
- A sense of urgency and flexibility is required to deal with a variety of miscellaneous situations that arise.
- This position requires the ability to work under high pressure and respond to multiple and immediate priorities.
- You will have strong leadership skills and be able to lead and motivate a team by bringing your positive attitude and energy to every shift.
