**Purpose of Role**:
This person will work on data management mine-related tasks while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values. He/She/They are expected to use a combination of Business and IT skills to contribute to the design and implementation of solutions that will enable our business to have quick access to data.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Sr. Data Management Analyst to build data visualization solutions using Power BI.
- Assist with data discovery for mine related systems such as: Dispatch, Historian, Ore Production, etc.
- Support the implementation of the new Kinross Data Management Framework.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**
- 2nd or 3rd year of Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Science, Economics, and/or related field student at an accredited college or university.
- Reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI/Tableau will be considered a great asset.
- Understanding of SQL and Python will be considered a very strong skill set.

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Interest in data related activities such as: data discovery, data management, data engineering, data governance, data visualization, and data modeling.
- Very people friendly and open-minded.
- Able to work with all levels of corporate and regional users.
- Lodging in Toronto or the GTA is required.
