**The Company**

Torex Gold Resources Inc. is an intermediate gold producer engaged in the exploration, development, and operation of our wholly-owned Morelos Property, an area of 29,000-hectares in the highly prospective Guerrero Gold Belt located 180 kilometres southwest of Mexico City. The Company is based in Canada, with our Corporate Office located in Toronto, Ontario. Torex is currently the second-largest gold producer in Mexico.

The Company’s mining asset is the Morelos Complex, which includes the El Limón Guajes (“ELG”) Mining Complex, the Media Luna Project, a processing plant and related infrastructure. Commercial production from the ELG Mining Complex began in April 2016, and the Company’s Media Luna project, located 7 kilometers south of the ELG Complex, is currently under construction with commercial production expected to begin in 2025.

Torex’s key strategic objectives are to extend and optimize production from the ELG Mining Complex, de-risk and advance the Media Luna Project to commercial production, build on ESG excellence, and grow organically through ongoing exploration across the entire Morelos Property and through potential value accretive M&A.

**The Job**

While being a central member of the Total Compensation Team, this role combines critical thinking and execution excellence. The incumbent will contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of Total compensation and Benefits programs, policies and processes to enable and deliver on the organization’s strategic priorities. The role is accountable for partnering and the delivery of various projects and serves as a credible proxy to the Total Compensation function while being an SME and key contributor to total compensation cycles (i.e., Enrolment, salary planning and equity administration).

**Qualifications**:

- University degree/Secondary education
- Compensation or Human Resources designation is an asset.

**Work Experience**:

- Total Rewards experience gained by roles in a consulting or in-house specialty
- Firm command and understanding of compensation analysis and best practices
- A strong sense of style and professionalism in drafting materials
- Experience with Share Plan Administration and HRIS systems
- Exposure to Executive and Broad base compensation
- Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas or Natural Resources industry is a plus

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Exposure to Shareworks or similar platform
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint
- Various Databases

**Responsibilities**

**_ Project Management and Administration:_** Contribute and collaborates to compensation & benefits processes that drive HR strategy and support the business. Supports internal measures while ensuring the timely and quality fulfilment of day-to-day and year end needs— Acts as a liaison with other teams and functions to fulfill interconnected accountabilities and deliverables.

**_ Internal advisor:_** Build relationships with various project stakeholders, functions and within the Human Resources team. Supports departmental enquiries regarding total compensation policies, programs, processes, and procedures. Helps to develop materials for internal communications and synthesizing results for various projects and reports.
- Compensation:

- Corporate, Executive and Int’l Benchmarking & Design. Survey & proxy
- Mobility Expat Compensation & Administration (Comp & Benefits)
- Support compensation policy and salary planning guidelines
- Participate and facilitate annual compensation cycles (i.e., Merit, Costing)
- Support with projects and reporting, including board requirements as necessary
- Conduct Job evaluation and related inquiries
- Benefits:

- Supports benefits administration in conjunction with HR Ops/HRIS. (i.e., enrollment, STD, LTD)
- Acts as a proxy Pension & Benefits “administrator” if/as required
- Supports design, regulatory and compliance needs
- Vendor Management:

- Vendor invoicing (Various providers: Consultants, administration, Insurers, services & others)
- Supports Renewals and utilization reporting
- Supports survey participation
- HR projects
- Participate in ongoing HR initiatives that intersect with the overall department mandate
- Support the development, coordination, and implementation of changes to “systems”
- Build an agile and diverse skill set to complement the team and personal growth

**_ Analysis:_** Conducts increasingly complex modelling and analysis of Total compensation program components and provides insights based on the strategic direction of the company. (Executive, Corporate, and Site Compensation, Benefits, “Pension,” and Mobility)
