St. Lawrence Dentistry is a rapidly growing, Mississauga based family practice with an incredible passion for our patients and colleagues. We are looking for a friendly, professional individual to join our team as Treatment Coordinator/ Receptionist and help coordinate patient care, treatment plans, billing, and assist with day-to-day office operations.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a treatment coordinator role or similar
- Experience in electronic medical records preferred (paperless office)
- Strong dental knowledge
- Strong computer skills (Tracker, MS Office, Excel, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with scheduling appointments for patients and providers within the practice.
- Prepare treatment plans, patient bills, and communicate with providers and patients on a daily basis.
- Assist with patient care including medication management, referrals, referrals tracking, patient education, etc. within the practice.
- Perform all necessary data entry into the practice management system (Tracker) for all new patients.
- Perform all necessary data entry into the practice management system for all current patients.
- Assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments, billing, insurance verification, etc. within the practice.

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5G 4V6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
