Food and Beverage Server

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Provide recommendations on beverage selections based on customer preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverage products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team setting
**Skills**:
- Food safety knowledge: Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment.
- Food industry knowledge: Familiarity with the operations and standards of the food industry.
- Food handling skills: Ability to safely handle food products, including preparation, storage, and serving.
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Hospitality: Understanding of the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Food service: Knowledge of standard procedures for serving food and beverages.
- Food preparation: Basic understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Bartending: Experience or knowledge of mixing drinks and creating cocktails.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
