**Full-Time MOA for Port Moody Allergy/Respirology Practice**

Aera Medical Specialists Clinic is seeking **1 full-time** Medical Office Assistant (2-5 years of experience) to join our clinic which provides care for patients with allergic and respiratory diseases.

The role is supporting two specialist physicians, offers a competitive wage and a pleasant work environment. We are relatively young physicians just starting our careers, and we are looking for similar medical staff to join our team and grow with us for the long-term.

Aera Medical Specialists Clinic is a specialty clinic, and as such we exclusively accept patients by referral only. This means our patient volume is significantly lower than that of a GP or walk-in clinic (10-20 patients per physician per day). Currently, we are a small practice with two full-time physicians, however, we are hoping to expand in the future. We are very passionate about medicine, patient care, and most of all our team and family.

**Job description**
**Medical Office Assistant**

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Managing patients' electronic medical records
- Intake of patient referrals
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Sending out medical communique, including referrals to other physicians, requisitions for investigations
- Ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of the clinic
- Assistance with spirometry, skin testing and patch testing

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:

- Appropriate protective equipment for all staff and patients
- Patient COVID screening
- Proper hygiene practice
