**Role**:
This role, under the direction of the Director, Local Contract & Bid Sales, is responsible for helping the customer succeed while achieving specific team and individual sales and profit goals set by the company. This role will oversee a team of Key Account Representatives that is responsible for the account management and growth of local contract sales with a minimum territory size of $12 million dollars in annual sales.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Lead Key Account Representatives within the region and deliver the agreed upon financial plan and targets
- Coaching, training, performance management, and providing feedback to improve associate performance
- Oversee account management and service level of contract customers
- Negotiate both contract renewals and new potential customer agreements as needed
- Escalation point of contact for customer issues
- Execute performance management routines
- Understand Customer contracts and enforce compliance mutually
- Support and communicate company goals to assure Sales Plan and Profitability
- Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data
- Actively utilizes Sysco proprietary CRM tool for planning and forecasting for sales growth and maintaining updated customer files
- Accountable to the continuous improvement of Sysco’s Net Promoter score
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Understands that their role is critical in creating a safe organization with mínimal environmental impact and the value that brings to the organization.
- Is willing to drive Environmental, Health and Safety performance by acting as an example and holding their team accountable to complying with EHS programs, policies, and requirements.

- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you)**:

- Minimum of five (5) years of Sales experience
- Progressive Sales Management experience and leading teams
- University or College degree/diploma or equivalent experience required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Lead a team of high performing sales associates to deliver against deadlines and produce high-quality results (accuracy, thoroughness in the deliverables they are producing)
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers and associates
- Strong financial acumen and ability to properly plan and execute business plans
- Demonstrated skills in the area of consultative selling, networking and negotiations
- Business and restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customers
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholders
- Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost and expense ratio
- Strong communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams
- Ability to understand and manage compliance to contracts
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same time
- Ability to learn the use of proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from data

- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle may be required
