The Community Engagement Team, established in December 2022 with the formation of the Ministry of Housing, is dedicated to advancing the provincial homelessness plan. This small yet dynamic team of four, including the Director and Senior Policy Analysts, collaborates across branches and with partners to drive meaningful change. They are passionate about preventing and reducing homelessness across British Columbia, with a strong focus on fostering inclusivity, equity, and positive community impact.

**The Role**
As a Policy Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Province’s efforts to reduce and prevent homelessness across British Columbia. You'll lead or support partner engagement activities, conduct policy research, provide strategic advice to senior staff, and contribute to cross-ministry coordination. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive collaborative initiatives with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion, helping to make a meaningful impact on communities throughout the province.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field and **2 years **of *related experience; OR
- Diploma in business administration, public administration, or a related field and **3 years** of *related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in business administration, public administration, or a related field and **4 years** of *related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Related experience includes the following:

- Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.
- Experience managing projects and/or project components.
- Experience leading and supporting community/partner engagement activities
- Experience with concisely and persuasively writing a range of documents/content.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Experience with issues related to homelessness and affordable housing.
- A bachelor's degree in a relate field.
- Over 4 years of related experience.
