DC Bank, a private Canadian Schedule 1 Bank, is seeking a Deskside Support / System Administrator to join its Information Services team. The position would be based in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the senior executive, the ideal incumbent is one who is highly motivated, and gets things done accurately, effectively, and with mínimal supervision.

**As a Deskside Support / System Administrator, you are expected to both do and manage the following**:

- Help design and implement new high-quality desktop support solutions based on high-level requirements.
- Install and configure hardware / software for our external and internal clients.
- Independently analyze, solve, and deliver problem resolution end-to-end by weighing alternatives to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Document technical solutions, share expertise, and cross-training to other peers and team members.
- End-user training and support.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Participate in on-call rotation with occasional after hours and weekend support.
- Other duties as requested.

**Qualifications of a Deskside Support / System Administrator are**:

- Knowledge of and experience with Azure (Active Directory / Intune).
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems as well as Active Directory.
- Experience with Antivirus (Microsoft Intune) and other endpoint security solutions.
- Excellent English verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Self-starter with good analytical, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize properly to deliver multiple projects in a timely manner.
- A good team player with a positive attitude

**Experience**:

- College Diploma or University Degree in a related field and/or 1 year’s equivalent work experience.
- Microsoft MCSE, VMware VCP, or similar would be considered an asset.

Location: Calgary, AB (required)

Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience
