**Area Manager, Edmonton**
**Job Summary**

As the Area Manager, you will oversee all operations in the Edmonton region, positioning the business for long-term success and leading with **integrity**.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of **collaboration**, **quality**, and **community**, while receiving full support from our corporate and project services teams, including finance, business development, estimating, branch administration, safety, quality, project management, and project coordinators. **Key Accountabilities**
**Driving Geographic Growth**: Lead the expansion of Elevate Energy Group in Edmonton and surrounding regions, actively fostering relationships with new and existing clients. You’ll play a crucial role in executing our **vision of industry transformation**, ensuring we leave a lasting, positive legacy in every project.
**Mentorship & Leadership Development**: Be a **positive mentor** and role model for your team, embodying our values of **integrity**, **collaboration**, and **community**. A key focus will be identifying and developing your successor, ensuring a smooth leadership transition within two years.
**Operational Excellence**: Oversee field operations with a relentless commitment to **quality** and operational efficiency. Drive projects from planning through execution and closeout, ensuring that we consistently **exceed client expectations**.
**Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring we deliver excellence in every engagement. Foster **transparency** and **open communication** to cultivate long-term partnerships.
**Business Development**: Spearhead business development efforts for the Edmonton region, leveraging your local market knowledge and professional network. By aligning with Elevates **mission to make a positive impact**, you will ensure our presence continues to grow.
**Safety Leadership**: Champion a culture of safety, maintaining **integrity** in all health, safety, and environmental practices. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols while fostering a workplace that promotes well-being and respect for all.
**Financial Oversight**: Manage the financial performance of the Edmonton operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. By closely monitoring financial metrics, you’ll contribute to our commitment to **building lasting partnerships** and delivering long-term value.
**Team & Resource Management**: Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring all personnel and assets are utilized efficiently. Foster a work environment that supports **collaboration** and teamwork, ensuring every team member feels valued and engaged.
**Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the annual and long-term strategic plans for the Edmonton region, ensuring our operational goals align with Elevate Energy Group’s broader strategic vision.
**Support & Collaboration**: Work alongside the corporate and project services teams, including finance, business development, estimating, safety, and project management. You will have the full support of the organization as you **lead with integrity** and **collaborate** to achieve our goals.
**Qualifications & Education**
- Journeyman Electrician or Instrument Technician certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas as an Area/Branch Operations Manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience in business development and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), including hazardous area classifications.
- Strong networking skills, with the ability to develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
- Solid understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to remote locations as required.
