**About the role**:
Currently, we are seeking a **Project Manager **to join our Building Automation Controls team in Burnaby, BC, reporting to the Operations Manager, Technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify potential business opportunities
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and clients
- Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions
- Manage project financial performance, develop project schedules and purchase project materials and equipment
- Estimate project costs, changes, and submit tenders
- Be present on the job sites regularly, work with the onsite team members to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing
- Review as-built drawings and submit
- Issue appropriate invoicing for the client
- Review reports to ensure accuracy, provide resource forecasting and make adjustments where necessary
- Ensure commissioning is completed and all deficiencies are dealt with
- Manage client sign off and project close out process in a timely and professional manner
- Review the project at completion with onsite teams, ensure project handover to service to discuss successes and challenges

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of project management experience required
- PMP certification an asset
- Experience working within the Technology Industry and familiarity with local consultants and engineers preferred
- Solid technical knowledge of Building Automation Controls with trades qualification as an asset
- Risk management, change management and contract administration knowledge preferred
- Strong computer skills required including proficiency with MS Office, Adobe and Accubid
- Must thrive in a fast paced environment and remain calm and professional under pressure
- Must be organized and able to manage many projects at one time
- Must have strong conflict resolution skills and customer service skills
- Must have excellent team work and strong interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license in good standing with access to a personal vehicle
- No restrictions or limitations working in acute or long term care, correctional or government facilities
- Strong English language and communication skills
