**CAREER OPPORTUNITY**:Manager, Quality Assurance and Training**

**Location: Mississauga Ontario**

**Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Implements quality systems and measures their effectiveness by verifying activities, controls and preventative measures.
- Provides leadership enabling associates at all levels through QMS and continuous improvement
- Ensuring customer unique process requirements are appropriately documented and controlled, implemented and change control maintained
- Assist in communication of customer requirements to ensure meeting expectations and maintaining consistency in reporting performance
- Maintains key elements of the QMS including customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, internal audit protocol, and management review.
- Ensures that quality policies and procedures are well documented, duly updated, and appropriately circulated
- Represents the company for third-party SQF or governmental food safety audits by liaising with auditors and implementing corrective measures for all deficiencies.
- Assures the accuracy and compliance of HACCP records as defined in the corporate procedures.
- Leads all QA and food/product safety related activities/initiatives
- Creates training materials to support GMP/HACCP/Sanitation programs at all levels of the company and provides routine employee training on quality, regulatory, and food safety principles and policies. Reviews warehouse quality issues, ensures problems are resolved, and follows-up on customer/supplier complaints with corrective actions and preventive measures
- Maintains Recall, Traceability, FIFO, Continuous Improvement, Sanitation, Pest Control, Food Security, etc. programs.
- Supports third party audits, customer and internal audits).
- Develop and oversee training program for operations new hires, temporary associates, and full-time associates
- Maintain continuous ongoing improvement of training materials and programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, and consultation with managers.
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
- Ensures continuous improvement through Lean methodologies.

**Job Qualifications**:

- University degree education or equivalent in Quality Control or Management
- 2 years plus of Similar experience in a warehouse or 3PL environment
- Certifications or experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies Functional
- Supporter of “Do Things Right the First Time” principle
- Leadership abilities with excellent time management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- quality assurance: 3 years (preferred)
- Training: 2 years (preferred)
- Audits: 3 years (preferred)
- HACCP: 2 years (preferred)
- Warehouse distribution industry: 2 years (preferred)
