We are currently seeking a Chair to lead Seneca’s School of Health Sciences, and provide visionary academic leadership, to effectively shape and execute strategic initiatives in alignment with the institution’s Academic and Business Plans. With an unwavering commitment to delivering quality programs, fostering student success and championing equity, diversity, and inclusion for a transformative impact.

- Provide exceptional academic leadership for high-quality, industry/community-relevant student-centered programs while delivering effective resource management.
- Successfully collaborate on alignment of the school's strategy with Seneca’s overall vision.
- Foster student success and engagement through innovative teaching methods, mentorship, academic support, dispute mediation, and positive relationships with students and alumni.
- Provide leadership and support in growing research and innovation within the school to achieve applied research excellence.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, collective agreements, and legal mandates, upholding standards set by Seneca, the Ministry and industry/ accreditation bodies.
- Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and community organizations to collaborate on projects, internships, and experiential learning opportunities.

Step into this position with a minimum of 8 years of experience teaching and providing exceptional academic leadership. Showcase your expertise in resource management, curriculum development, diversity and inclusion advocacy, strategic planning, research advancement, and policy compliance, with student success at the forefront. Additionally, ensure you possess a degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience in an area or a related area to the programs of study with the School of Health Sciences
