This role was created to help support the Members' Human Resource Service (MHRS) team in providing best-in-class support to Members of Parliament, House Officers, and their staff. This position serves as a rotational developmental role, providing individuals with valuable experience and knowledge to support their growth into more senior roles within Human Resource Services.
In this unique role, the Advisor provides expert guidance and responds to human resources (HR) inquiries for Members of Parliament, House Officers, and their staff. They prepare reference and communications material, analyze reports and procedures, and contribute to the implementation of changes and continuous improvement to the (MHRS) client service delivery model. They are accountable for providing project and policy support to the team and ad hoc training to clients in support of the MHRS tools and processes. The Advisor also represents their team on steering committees, large projects, and various initiatives.

**Qualifications** Education**:
- Graduation from a post-secondary institution in Human Resources, Business Administration OR an acceptable combination of relevant education, work experience and training.
**Experience**:
- Experience in providing human resources (HR) related advisory services in one or more HR disciplines.
- Experience in producing reference and/or communications materials, procedures, and reports.
- Experience in interacting and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups and partners.
- Experience in creating training guides and delivering training.
- Experience in participating in and contributing to large projects.
- Experience in documenting processes and procedures, and analyzing business process improvements.
- Experience in handling sensitive HR cases and escalations.
- Experience in deploying programs, procedures, and services.
