**Our Story**

Thrive Group was established in 2013 to provide a more consolidated and cost effective approach to the provision of infrastructure for non-profit healthcare organizations. The governing Boards of each organization understood the need to radically change how back-office supports were structured in order to ensure that, with increasing demands and overstretched budgets, as much of the funding received through their Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), project-based funding and donor contributions as possible could be channeled to where it was most needed - quality front-line care for their clients and residents. By consolidating each organization’s Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance and Facilities Management functions and recruiting one Chief Executive Officer, overall administrative costs were reduced without sacrificing the strength that an informed and professional back-office infrastructure could offer. Currently Thrive Group is responsible for the operation of four member organizations:

- AbleLiving Services
- Capability Support Services
- Idlewyld Manor

**Job Types**:1 Full-Time Permanent and 1 Full-Time Contract (minimum of 12 months)

**Salary Range**:
$40,894 to $54,997

**Position Summary**:
Under the direction of the Directors of Human Resources and in collaboration with the HR and operational teams, this position is responsible for vacancy posting, initial screening and staff recruitment for Thrive Group organizations. The position markets the Thrive Group of organizations as an employer of choice to the labour market through job fairs, presentations, and other innovative ways. It is responsible for connecting with local educational institutions to build relationships that foster collaborative efforts to secure employment for new graduates. The position manages the recruitment data base and inputs new employee data into the Human Resource Information Systems, running and analysing reports as requested. The position is also responsible for coordinating strategies to reduce turn-around time to fill vacancies and on-board new employees. The position is responsible for promoting a highly engaged, customer-oriented organizational culture.

**Employment Guide**:

- Post-secondary education in human resources or administration required, with previous experience working as a recruiter preferred.
- Knowledge of human resources practices, labour law, Health and Safety/WHMIS legislation and Employment Standards Act advantageous.
- Must possess highly developed verbal and written skills, and a demonstrated ability to deal with a diverse range of people.
- Must have solid organizational skills and be able to multi-task effectively. Must have high levels of customer service skills and inspire a solution-focused approach to address recruitment challenges within the Health Care Sector.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and data base management.
- An intimate working knowledge of the Internet and web-page management essential.
- Experience working with Human Resource Information and recruitment systems required.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for this position.
