Tennyson’s Safety and Rental (TSR) is an independently owned and operated rental, retail, sales, and service business. Tennyson’s offers a wide range of products, for sale or rent, from air and compact tools, excavating, generators, pumps, safety supplies, site management supplies, general tooling, and more.

As a truck driver, you will be responsible for daily deliveries of construction equipment to and from construction sites and households in the surrounding area. Will be responsible for driving a variety of trucks and trailers daily.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preform and operate pre/post trip inspections
- Load and unload construction equipment onto trucks / trailers
- Properly securing down equipment for transportation
- Able to navigate to different drop off and pick up locations and ensuring cargo reaches its destination safely
- Comfortable driving a variety of different trucks / trailers (Highway truck, pickup truck, roll off flat bed, large float, small trailers)
- Record keeping including return of a signed delivery receipts, fuel logs, repairs or damages, etc.
- Communicate with customers at drop off and pick up
- Assist customers by showing them the basic controls of the equipment

**Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Must have a valid Class G Licence with a clean driving abstract
- _Ideally _have a Class AZ licence
- Must be comfortable driving large trucks, towing trailers and backing up trailers
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must follow all health and safety rules and requirements including wearing proper PPE
- Licences / knowledge to operate various types of equipment (excavation, forklift, arial, high reach) would be an asset. Training will be available
- Reliable team player with excellent communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, organized, and work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and maintain a safe and clean work area
