The **Tool Crib Attendant** is responsible for supporting site Operations by organizing and maintaining levels of PPE, shop supplies, and coveralls. As well as maintaining the shop and yard cleanliness, and minor vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES**:
- Receive, unpack, place and deliver PPE, materials, and equipment.
- Receive shipments from vendors and delivery drivers, ship out with couriers as needed.
- Identify, package and create shipments to go out with couriers; itemize and complete packing slips before shipping.
- Complete weekly inventory of supplies, PPE and equipment; submit requisitions to replenish depleted inventory.
- Inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear; report damage or wear to asset specialist.
- Maintain trucks in yard - replacing headlights, wiper-blades and fluids as required; fueling and washing as needed.
- Transport trucks to repair facilities as required.
- Weekly delivery runs to various sites, delivering equipment, supplies, coveralls, etc.
- Maintain clean care of shop and garage interior and exterior i.e., yard maintenance (shoveling walkways, salt/sand, cut and water grass, etc.)
- Managing rental equipment in and out as required.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- High School Diploma.
- Clean Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical Aptitude (Perform Minor Mechanical Tasks).
- Physical capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting to 50lbs.
- Current and valid safety certifications. First Aid and Petzl inspection certificate (would be considered an asset).
- Ability to pass company’s pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BRING**:
- Shop operations experience.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Capacity to analyze a situation and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to be a self-start (identify and initiate work activities without hourly direction).
- Computer knowledge.
- Safety awareness and strong safety culture.
- The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
