Tennyson’s Safety and Rental (TSR) is an independently owned and operated rental, retail, sales, and service business. Tennyson’s offers a wide range of products, for sale or rent, from air and compact tools, excavating, generators, pumps, safety supplies, site management supplies, general tooling, and more.

As a general and yard labourer you will be responsible for moving equipment, cleaning, and basic maintenance. In addition to assisting in shop and with customers when required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pressure washing and cleaning equipment
- Basic maintenance and inspections of the rental equipment
- Assist customers with loading and unloading rental equipment from their vehicles
- Fueling equipment and filling out logs
- Complete work orders, repair orders, and other logs
- General building maintenance, including but not limited to small repairs, cleaning, painting, and garbage removal
- Moving a variety of items around the yard / shop (tools, equipment, scaffold, etc.)
- Able to operate construction equipment and lifting devices around the yard (pallet driver, skid steer, trucks, etc.)
- Snow removal and grass cutting / trimming as required

**Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Must be okay working in the elements (heat, snow, rain)
- Must have a valid class G licence with a clean driving abstract
- Practical knowledge of the function, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment
- Licences / knowledge to operate various types of equipment (excavation, forklift, arial, high reach) would be an asset. Traing will be availble
- Must follow all health and safety rules and requirements including wearing proper PPE
- Reliable team player with excellent communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, organized, and work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and maintain a safe and clean work area
