**Production and Materials Planner (Hybrid)**

We are looking for one full time Production and Materials Planner to join our team. This position will be based in our Cambridge plant with some hybrid work flexibility.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Development and maintenance of the production schedule.
- Ordering and monitoring optimized levels of raw and operating materials.
- Optimal inventory levels while ensuring customer service targets are met.
- Communicate with Corporate Supply Chain regarding performance.
- Working with the Production team for optimal plant efficiency.
- Working with internal departments to satisfy external customer’s needs.
- Establish and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Manage an effective cycle count program.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- A post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing, operations, food manufacturing or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience, with an understanding of MRP and Production Planning, the company’s products and its approach to Order Management and Demand Planning.
- Team oriented, self-motivated and highly organized.
- A strong analytical approach to problem solving.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Experience managing virtual teams.
- Ability to perform tasks independently.
- Experience with SAP and IBP process development is an asset.
