Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations
- Utilize Sage Accounting and Microsoft Office to record and track financial transactions.
- An extensive understanding of Debits, Credits, Assets, Liabilities, Revenues and Expenses. - Knowledgeable in Accounting Principles, filing government remittances and the CRA Website for corporate information. - The applicant must know how to complete source deductions, T4's, ROE's, WSIB, T5018's and Bank Reconciliations. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial records

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using Sage Accounting Software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of payroll processing and bank reconciliation procedures is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
