Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) is located in extraordinary Prince Edward County, which is surrounded by 800km of shoreline and is home to world-renowned Sandbanks Provincial Park. PECMH, which sees more than 40,000 patients each year, is being rebuilt as a leading edge facility, equipped to meet today's standards of exceptional care. The new hospital is anticipated to open in 2027 and will continue to offer a range of services including 24/7 emergency care, various outpatient clinics, diagnostic imaging (with CT being added in the new hospital), endoscopy, dialysis and palliative care. The hospital works closely with Prince Edward County Family Health Team, the other Quinte Health hospitals, and regional health centres, to serve the community together.

**Position Summary**
**Required**
- University degree or combination of post-secondary education and work experience.
- Minimum of three years experience working in a similar line of work.
- Demonstrated ability to build a culture of philanthropy within an organization.
- Experience managing integrated direct marketing campaigns or marketing portfolios.
- Resourceful, fast-paced, optimistic, creative, highly organized, possess strong writing skills, skilled in relationship management, and comfortable working with a diverse team.
- Experience working in the not-for-profit sector will be considered an asset.
- Experience with graphic design.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics including the ability to analyze donor trends from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong donor-centred approach complemented by excellent organizational, planning and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently to move projects from concept to launch, and handle multiple and often competing deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building and superior communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Experience working with volunteers to support project execution.
- Collaborative team player able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage external vendor relationships.
- Valid driver’s license with access to own transportation.
- Current police reference check (obtained at time of employment).

**Duties**
- Events (40%).
- Support the PECMHF team in the planning, design, production, promotion and implementation of foundation events.
- Plan and monitor timelines for internal and external deliverables related to events.
- Manage, organize and execute the organization’s signature events such as the Gala and golf tournament.
- Manage event guest lists and RSVPs.
- Provide travel logistics and briefing notes for staff, including event attendee profiles.
- Ideate and pitch event sponsorship activation concepts to internal teams and corporate partners.
- Ensure delivery of sponsorship commitments.
- Maintain and advise on the budgeting of the event execution.
- Collect and manage feedback on events post-execution.
- Evaluate and create post-event reports for individual and corporate partners.
- Research and identify new opportunities.
- Support the community with third-party events organized to benefit PECMHF.
- Support members of ad hoc event committees.
- Support the greater fund development team as needed on a project-by-project basis.
Marketing and Communications (60%):
- Write, design, and execute all marketing materials and communication plans.
- Develop, execute and analyze integrated direct marketing programs to drive donor revenue through various channels.
- Work with ED and SDO to develop content for projects such as social media, newsletters, news releases, annual reports, speech writing, website content, and media outreach.
- Research and plan for creative ways to drive donor and volunteer engagement.
- Manage PECMHF's social media accounts, create content, monitor engagement, schedule posts and analyze metrics.
