**JBS Equipment** is a rapidly growing manufacturing company located in **Mission, BC **providing market-leading equipment solutions to the agriculture industry around the world. JBS is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and guide all of our HR activities.
**SUMMARY**:
The Human Resources Manager role is responsible for leading the day-to day operations of the HR Department, managing employee relations, leading recruitment activities, leading injury management, and providing leadership around fostering a positive and productive work environment within the company.
**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Lead the HR team on a daily basis, helping to set priorities and ensuring the goals of the company are being implemented and met
- Leading and providing strategies for recruitment and retention of employees
- Providing guidance and direction to supervisors, managers and executive team around employee relations, keeping within Employment Standards
- Implementing and continuing to develop Onboarding programs
- Manage all injury claims, including communication with WCB and back to work programs
- Ensure that all departments have the optimum number of employees
- Ensure that performance appraisals are taking place in all departments and appropriate follow is happening.
- Ensure that all HR related documentation and procedures are managed
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and set HR policies.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- 2+ years' experience as an HR Manager with 6+ years of HR experience, including recruiting tradespeople in manufacturing or industrial work environment
- Demonstrated superior communication skills, conflict resolution, tact, and confidentiality
- Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards and best practices for HR policies and procedures
- Experience with full cycle recruiting
- Ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levels in the organization
- Relevant computer experience and knowledge to maintain documentation in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- HR designation an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
