The **Document Controller and Quality Control Administrator** is responsible for providing administrative support services to Quality Control & Projects departments as it pertains to controlled project documentation by receiving, sorting, logging, and electronically filing incoming documents.

**Responsibilities**
- Assists the Project Management Team and Quality Management with the management of documents under development or review.
- Compiles and maintains project control records and related files to release drawings, engineering and quality documents to clients, manufacturing and other operating departments.
- Examines drawings and controlled project documentation against client vendor drawings, data requirements, and documentation specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of requirements.
- Consults with document originators or engineering personnel to resolve discrepancies prior to issuance.
- Prepares and maintains manual or computerized control records, document register, transmittals for document release, and notifies affected departments or clients.
- Prepares and maintains project documentation.
- Distributes and files project documentation and records.
- Prepares and maintains project standard and specification file, manual and computerized.
- Monitors and expedites documentation internally and externally in order to meet contractual deadlines.
- Consults with document originators or engineering personnel in order to achieve final code status on documentation or status on documents not created.
- Consults with project managers regarding documentation status and priorities.
- Consults with Quality Manger with regards to data management.
- Prepares, maintains and updates Supplier Document Index to communicate document submittal date changes to client.
- Completes requests for reproduction of drawings and documents.
- Prepare reports and memorandums as required.
- Maintains and improves the document/data management system.
- Contributes to the compiling of manufacturer’s record books at the end of the project.
- Works with Department Managers to transfer project documents for archiving at the end of the project.
- Identifies streamlining functions for implementation.
- Files of MTR’s and inventory documentation
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Education and Experience**
- High School Diploma
- College or University Diploma/Degree in Administration would be an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical office (preferably project office) environment.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as general administration documentation, standards, specifications and drawings.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients
- Ability to calculate and work with numbers.
- Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution or conflict management.
- Ability to interpret and understand a variety of instructions in written and oral form.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills needed, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Functional use of PowerBI and Sharepoint.
- High level of accuracy when entering data.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to manage stress while working in a busy office area, facing interruptions and a need to regularly follow-up with other people.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
