- Alithya is seeking a paralegal in corporate and securities law. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with members of the Montreal-based legal team as well as other departments of the company.
- Coordinate the Board of Directors meetings, prepare required documents (e.g., agendas, resolutions, minutes) and upload these documents to the Directors' Portal;
- Maintain the books and records of the corporation, including the preparation of resolutions and the filing of federal, provincial and extra-provincial returns in Canada (and review and coordinate the filing of equivalent documents in the United States and internationally);
- Contribute to the company's continuous disclosure obligations (preparation of key disclosure documents, insider reports, filing of forms with various regulatory agencies, etc.) and the maintenance of related internal records;
- Review and analyze various reports and filings in accordance with established procedures and guidelines;
- Communicate and coordinate with members of the legal team and other departments of the company to ensure the timely production of legal documents;
- Manage the legal department's filing system and documents and provide IT support for the Directors' Portal;
- Provide administrative support to members of the legal department, including coordination of invoicing and signing of documents;
- Perform any other corporate secretarial tasks.

Does this sound like you?
- DEP in secretarial studies, DEC in paralegal techniques or any other combination of relevant training and/or experience;
- Experience as a paralegal in a law firm or publicly traded company;
- Experience in corporate and securities law;
- Ability to work in a bilingual environment;
- Strong legal drafting skills in both French and English;
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent business sense for finding practical solutions to issues;
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and manage priorities;
- Flexibility and team spirit;
- Autonomy, initiative, professionalism and discretion;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), a must;
- Knowledge of Diligent Boards, SEDI, SEDAR or Workiva, an asset;
- Communication with teams in French and English. Level expected:
