**What you do**
- Direct the strategic planning process and coordinate the process of operational planning across the assigned clinical program in collaboration with the Regional Director. Integrate specific goals and objectives into the activities of the clinical services ensuring linkages with individual performance plans, and quality management initiatives.
- Oversee and coordinate on-going program team planning, development, evaluation and quality improvement activities that facilitate team goal setting, problem solving, conflict resolution and collaboration by arranging and facilitating meetings and in-services; reviewing team policies and procedures, revising documents, and developing new policies and procedures; selecting and utilizing outcome measures, implementing new approaches to care, and evaluating effect of changes in client/patient centered care practice; composing reports as required. Consult with the team and collaborates with other Managers, Regional Directors, and applicable committees and corrections partners regarding efficiency of processes and procedures and changes in policies and procedures to ensure streamlined, effective and client/patient centered practices.
- Establish partnership with community stakeholders, BC Corrections, regional health authorities and First Nations Health Authority to ensure client/patient transition from Correctional Health Services or Tier 5 facilities into community health services as appropriate; oversees and provides direction to the team that facilitates the transition of clients/patients to service providers including supported housing or and residential treatment centres. Support the establishment of service plans and engages with virtual health to support access to care. Encourage partnerships and systems that facilitate optimal health service delivery, reduce or eliminate health service inequities and promote healthy communities.
- Develop the program budget to complement strategic directions within existing fiscal constraints and uses utilization methods to monitor and adhere to allocated budget. Develop effective and efficient practices and processes to measure use of resources and the quality of care rendered within the allocated budget.

**What you bring**

**Qualifications**
- A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Nursing / Social Work or a related health profession from an accredited University.
- A minimum of seven years recent related clinical experience including two years working in a managerial/leadership capacity in a clinical setting.
- Current practicing registration with a relevant professional association.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Solid clinical knowledge of the designated patient population(s)
- Strong skills in clinical and operations management.
- Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action (2015), In Plain Sight Report (2020), BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019), and Reclaiming Power and Place Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls calls for justice, and how they intersect across the health care system.
- Supports team members on their learning journey, ensuring education strategy for team/department to implement Indigenous Cultural Safety at a practical level.
- Works collaboratively with appropriate Indigenous teams/departments to ensure ICS lens applied holistically.
