Inside Sales Representative

Northern Shades is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Commission Sales Representative mainly specializing in interior shades with an opportunity to grow and expand into other areas of the company. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of interior shade products to residential and commercial clients. This position offers a competitive base salary + commission compensation structure with uncapped earning potential.

**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and approach potential clients in residential and commercial sectors to introduce our interior shade products.
- Conduct in-home & in showroom consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert recommendations on suitable solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Actively prospect and follow up on leads generated through various channels, including referrals, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Provide the first point of contact for all incoming web leads. Quickly qualifying the customer and beginning the sales process or handing off the lead to the correct salesperson.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sale agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for the client and the company.
- Coordinate with the operations team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of orders and exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the company.
**Requirements**:
- Proven track record of success in commission-based sales roles, preferably in the home decor, interior design, or related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand clients' needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in selling window treatments, interior shades, or related products.
- Knowledge of different types of interior shades, fabrics, and materials.
- Familiarity with architectural and interior design concepts.
- Previous experience working with residential and commercial clients.
