Key Responsibilities:

- Ability to populate the schedule with resource and cost information;
- Update, maintain and revise monthly and weekly schedules and reports with the construction teams;
- Compare and report on comparisons of monthly schedules;
- Perform any changes, delays, and/or accelerations to a specific construction section/WBS;
- Identify warnings and risks to the project for the purpose of mitigating the impact of these risks;
- Analyze monthly schedules and prepare reports for the purpose of dispute resolution issue;
- Interact with project team and task managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from original plan;
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas;
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or any related discipline;
- Professional Certification: P.Eng, PMP, and PSP, would be considered an asset;
- Minimum 3 years experience in heavy civil or general engineering construction required;
- Minimum 1-5 years of related Construction Planning/Scheduling;
- Experience in Project Controls, Engineering/Procurement/Construction/Systems Scheduling required;
- TILOS Linear Schedule;
- Proficient use of Primavera P6 software, Trimble TILOS, and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings;
- Experience in Tunneling and typical linear civil construction projects is an asset;
- Adaptable and flexible to an ever-changing environment;
- Excellent both oral and written communication skills in English;
- Ability to work under pressure.

Minimum 5 years of industry experience. Technical background with professional accreditation (P.Eng./ CET) or combination of technical training and/or related experience. Experience in contracting industry (heavy civil preferred). Read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings. Scheduling experience and analysis skills. Supervision/personnel experience. Computer proficiency. Written/oral communications. Presentation skills. Problem solving and organizational skills. Cost analysis, control, and reporting. Contracts - Commercial knowledge. Negotiating skills. SKILLS AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED Previous work experience with Metrolinx and/or Basement Flooding protection program is an asset. Previous work experience in tunneling is preferred.
