**Position Summary**

Construction Planner/Scheduler with construction experience to join an international company delivering transit projects in Toronto ON. Working with the Project Manager in a construction site role that provides support to operations staff and management in a dynamic and challenging work environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and to present information clearly
- Possess strong communication skills & ability to coordinate with all project stakeholders (Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Client & Project Management team). Confident interacting verbally, written and electronic form
- Identify the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule, and work with Planning Manager to identify potential delays
- Maintain project schedule and prepare/submit project deliverables. Including project specific schedules, earned value management reports (S-Curve, SPI, and CPI) and other project documentation
- Assist Project Management team with change management
- Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, setting priorities to meet deadlines and project milestones
- Organize project close-out by preparing warranty package and requirements; collecting warranties and O&M manuals; creating turnover documents and assisting in demobilizing the site and archiving documentation
- Willingness to contribute actively in team activities, sharing experiences and ideas

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management
- 2+ years experience using Primavera P6
- 3+ years’ experience in Civil Construction Preferred (Rail projects preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer background including Microsoft Office package (Excel)
- English speaking (Spanish is a plus)
