**SUMMARY**

Coordinates the operations and service delivery functions of the settlement team and program, with strategic focus on team synergy, program life cycles, key KPI’s, targets optimization and the evaluation of services in a seamless and integrated manner.

Willingly cooperates and works collaboratively with others to accomplish stated objectives. Using a variety of communication styles and strategies fosters open communications and exchange of information and discussion on an ongoing basis. Demonstrates resourcefulness to enhance services and program delivery offers constructive solutions to advance the quality of service and program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides ongoing coordination and leadership of all aspects of settlement programming
- Ensure strategies are developed and implemented to promote program accessibility
- Responsible for the coordination and supervision of program staff
- Provides case management coordination when needed
- Meets with program participants to support program components: intake, needs assessment and referral, information and orientation, community connections
- Leads knowledge sharing among program team members, contributes regularly to case conferencing and best practice in program delivery
- Coordinates development of program/curriculum calendar
- Supervises filing and performs internal file audit for proper retention and confidentiality of participant data
- Prepares reports and financial claims and monitor budget performance with CF
- Conducts surveys and monitors with feedback implementation
- Coordinates and participates in the outreach initiatives for target groups and community partners as required
- Monitors and tracks overall program expenditures within the allocated budget
- Other program & operational duties as assigned,

**Other duties**:

- Coordinates information, activities and linkages with other LDATD programs, settlement and community groups, networks and stakeholders
- Facilitate constructive and culturally sensitive communication between LDATD staff and newcomer clients
- Informs LDATD administration and colleagues about emerging settlement related issues, including a profile of the community
- Attends staff meetings and participates in reporting and decision-making, agency activities as required

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of issues affecting newcomers
- Experience and demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with diverse group of stakeholders and demonstrated awareness of cultural diversity, settlement and integration issues pertaining to newcomers to Canada is essential
- Understanding Learning Disabilities (LDs) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AD(H)D), barriers individuals face in everyday life acessibility, integration services that are available to assist
- University Degree or College Diploma in Humanities, Social Sciences, Immigration, Business or any related fields with an interest in community development / promotions / marketing / business development.
- Minimum three years of progressive experience in delivery and/or coordination settlement, language support, employment, case management and other community services programming
- Experience with iCARE administration and OCMS Data base
- Experience in monitoring program expenditures, budget and contract administration
- Experience in marketing and promotion, community outreach and service network development
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, practice patience, tact and diplomacy, and demonstrated listening ability
- Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving, ability to implement curriculum
- Experience in policy and protocols development
- Ability to work both as a team player and independently, and on a flexible schedule
- Flexibility with hours and location of work (may work occasional weekends and evenings) hybrid position (hybrid 3 days in office located in Willowdale)
- Use of a reliable vehicle for travel within GTA is an asset

- Regular work week: 37.5 hours (Full Time);

- Rate: $28.40
- Fixed term contract position
