**Accountabilities**:
As the Alberta Advisor, you will:

- Develop, lead, and implement social performance strategy and associated plans for assets in Alberta
- Lead social impact identification, management, and mitigations
- Lead and deliver ongoing relationship management, community engagement, and issue resolution with key stakeholders, Indigenous communities,synergy groups and local associations in Alberta
- Work closely with the regulatory team and deliver stakeholder and Indigenous consultation and notification requirements
- Manage land broker activities and related contracts
- Track, deliver and assure stakeholder and Indigenous commitments (regulatory related and otherwise) for complaint mechanism and resolution
- Ensure social and reputational opportunities and risks are assessed at an early stage, mitigated or leveraged, and integrated into business plans
- Provide advice to businesses and Corporate Relations leadership around performance, behaviour and communications
- Support operational notifications
- Advise the business on internal communications

**Requirements**:
**_ What we need from you_**
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
- Minimum 7 (seven) years’ experienceworking in theenergyindustry or any related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Environmental Management, Communication, Indigenous Studies or other related discipline is required.
- Community engagement experience and stakeholder relationship management skills are a must.
- Deep understanding of stakeholder and Indigenous landscape in Alberta.
- Experience supporting and extensive knowledge of Upstream businesses.
- Willingness to travel (COVID restrictions permitting.)
- Valid driver’s license.
