Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and tidy for patients
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a medical office setting preferred
- Proficient in using computer programs such as typing and scheduling preferably Accuro EMR (training on Accuro EMR will be provided)
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and file management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with office equipment such as phone systems, copiers, and sending faxes
