Numbers, numbers, numbers The Admin & Accounting Clerk is familiar with all accounting procedures and has a serious flair for working with numbers. These organized folks work under the supervision of the Senior Corporate Admin and together, they ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

These detail oriented number crunchers perform a wide variety of clerical duties and make sure that our two plus two equal four. Their role includes very important tasks such as; accounts payable, accounts receivable and membership adjustments.

They are incredibly organized and are total wizards when it comes to creating and maintaining accounting spreadsheets. They accurately and effectively compile and track data, prepare reports, recommend actions to resolve discrepancies, investigate questionable data, and verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

**As an Admin & Accounting Clerk, a typical day might include the following**:

- Providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Typing accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Entering key data of financial transactions in database
- Providing assistance and support to company personnel
- Researching, tracking and restoring accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Informing management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Functioning in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs (SAP)
