Restaurant Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for leading the front-of-house (and sometimes back-of-house) team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves overseeing staff, maintaining operational standards, handling customer issues, and ensuring the restaurant meets quality and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:Team Leadership**:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of restaurant staff.
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain high performance.
Create staff schedules, monitor attendance, and manage shift changes.
**Customer Service**:
Ensure all customers have a positive dining experience.
Handle customer complaints, inquiries, and special requests promptly and effectively.
Monitor the dining area for cleanliness, ambiance, and service quality.
**Operational Efficiency**:
Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all checklists are completed.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
Ensure all restaurant equipment is operational and coordinate repairs as needed.
**Compliance & Standards**:
Maintain adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
**Reporting**:
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Track and analyze key metrics, such as sales performance and customer feedback.
**Problem-Solving**:
Handle staffing emergencies, unexpected rushes, or operational challenges.
Implement strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.
