Kepler is on a Mission to bring the internet to space. Incorporated in 2015, Kepler’s guiding star is to enable the space economy through the creation of a communication network in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) that will provide connectivity services to other space missions, be they on orbit in LEO, MEO, GEO, or beyond. With an expanding base of early customers and our first 19 satellites in orbit, Kepler is continuing to grow and expand its most important asset - the Team Based out of our HQ in Toronto and with an office in the UK and a newly formed office in the US we are building towards a truly global company delivering a product for the whole world.
As the inventory and shipping associate, you’ll lead Kepler’s company-wide supply chain activities, ensuring our engineering and manufacturing teams have the supplies and parts needed to design, test, and produce Kepler’s next-generation constellation of satellites. You’ll also play a critical role in shipping out our satellites and equipment to virtually any place in the world You’ll own the upstream and downstream supply chain activities including logistics, customs, export permits, and inventory management.
In this newly expanded position, there will be a mix of following established and routine processes while also having the opportunity to improve the day-to-day of our logistics and inventory management activities. We’ll be looking to you to maintain the processes playbook and implement new systems to add value to our supply chain activities.

Note: This position is a 6-month contract with the potential to convert to a full-time employee.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage logistics for pickups and deliveries of all shipments both domestically and internationally, including customs paperwork preparation and coordination carriers.
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Unload, sort and distribute incoming shipments. Receive products, inspect material for quality, accuracy and process CoC/packing slips in NetSuite.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Lead inventory management activities such inventory counts and recording incoming/outgoing transactions, picking product for manufacturing/sales orders.
- Know safe storage and handling procedures for electronics and mechanical components.
- Contribute to a team effort and undertake other special projects as requested.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or other relevant degree or a High School diploma with a combination of 4 years of courses, training and/or experience in Inventory Control, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- 1+ year of logistics/inventory experience in a manufacturing environment (including internships).
- Experience with Shipping and Receiving.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent software skills, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Affinity for turning an ambiguous and unstructured situation into a repeatable process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with external parties.
- Must be able to move delivered packages as required (up to 10kg).
**Bonus Points**:
- Previous experience in aerospace/automotive warehouse environment.
- Previous experience working with customs and international shipments.
- Previous NetSuite ERP experience.
