**Job Title: Operations Manager for Grotto Getaway Ltd.**

Grotto Getaway Ltd is an innovative hospitality company operating a Glamping / camping resort in Miller Lake, Ontario, and a 5-cottage resort in Tobermory, Ontario. We take pride in offering our guests a unique experience in the heart of a beautiful geographic area. Our accommodations feature themed tents with full queen beds and renovated trailers like airstreams, providing an affordable yet exceptional stay for our clients.

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with campground management in Miller Lake and correspond with cleaning and tradespeople in Tobermory.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance property listings on platforms like Airbnb, maximizing performance and earnings.
- Manage and oversee bookings on various hospitality platforms and ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Interview potential hires for customer service positions, train them, and oversee their work on Airbnb messaging platform, Lodgify, etc.
- Update existing listings and create new listings on various booking platforms to attract guests and enhance visibility.
- Optimize property listings with engaging descriptions, appealing photos, and relevant amenities to achieve optimal performance.
- Provide project management from inception to completion, overseeing the execution of property staging and improvement initiatives.
- Lead, manage, and mentor on-site teams during the peak season, ensuring efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with the ownership team to provide regular updates, seek input, and make data-driven decisions.
- Drive a culture of positivity, mutual respect, and excellence in customer service throughout the organization.
- Occasionally get involved in resolving challenging situations with guests to ensure their satisfaction and maintain a high level of service.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or other management roles.
- Demonstrated experience in people management and providing clear direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey meaning and inspire respect.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver under pressure and within strict deadlines.
- A self-starter with the ability to anticipate and identify potential opportunities and challenges.
- Hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
- Some form of post-secondary education is beneficial but not required.

**Salary**:
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
