Nature of the work:

- The principal and customary work of the employee in this employment class consists in performing various technical tasks of an administrative nature. They assist support personnel as well as users of the department concerned.**Responsibilities**:

- Working within the Benefits team, under the authority of the Coordinator of Human Resources, and exercising a high degree of autonomy in all matters pertaining to the position, the incumbent will:
- Responsible for the faculty group insurance dossier: process enrolments, terminations, changes, input, and recoup premium deductions, prepare and review invoices, etc.;
- Prepare employee banks, vacation planners, etc. in collaboration with Benefits Administration Technician;
- Review certificates of absences to ensure compliance with various collective agreements;
- Provide employees with guidance and information regarding maternity, paternity, and parental leaves in accordance with collective agreements;
- Process maternity, paternity, and parental leaves;
- Participate in the production of financial quarterly reporting for benefits;
- Update or modify insurance rates in HR systems and informs employee groups;
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

**Length of the contract**: April 2024 to June 30, 2024

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications:

- In the administration field, have a diploma of college studies (DEC) in administration with an appropriate specialty or, in the office automation field, a diploma of college studies (DEC) in office automation with an appropriate specialty or, a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.
- Conditions:
- Ability to oversee multiple dossiers associated with benefits;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Advanced oral and written English communication skills (testing may be required);
- Intermediate oral and written French communications skills (testing may be required);
- Intermediate level Word and Excel (testing may be required);
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding HR dossiers;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong mathematical skills are an asset (testing may be required)
