Office Administrator

Mae-Mart Farms is a 7th generation farm located in Waterford, we are proud contributors to Ontario’s food supply. We are looking for a Office Administrator to join our growing team.
**What do we need you to do?**
- Assist with payables, receivables, government and regulatory remittances, payroll & inventory
- Assist with HR and Health and Safety processes
- Maintain office services, procedures, correspondence
- Inventory management
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
- Other projects as assigned
**What do we hope you bring to the position?**
- Education in Accounting and office processes
- Very strong understanding of accounting
- Ability to work proficiently in excel
- 1-5 years accounting experience
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act and operate independently and work as a team
- Experience in Quick Books an asset
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
Own transportation is required, we are outside public transit areas.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Waterford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 2 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
