This position will be primarily located at our Head Office in Cambridge, however there is some travel involved.

**Your day to day activities will include**:
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations and available inventory.
Recruit and book loads with 3rd party carriers.
Releasing railcars and track them.
Deal with after-hours calls on a 24/7 basis for any delivery related issues and changes.
Depending on location, you could also be scheduling company owned bulk tanker drivers as well as payroll activities for them.
Arrange truck and trailer drop offs for repairs and maintenance.
Collaborate with other internal departments and work within tight deadlines.
Carry out various administrative components related to freight such as detention charges, BOL’s to invoicing department.

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
High school diploma/GED required.
Degree in logistics or related field preferred.
Working knowledge of legal regulations, Ontario Highway Traffic act and hours of service requirements.
Experience with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) considered an asset.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and high proficiency in Excel)
Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, negotiating and customer service skills.
Ability to use and navigate Logistics routing software.
