Workforce Planning Manager

The role of the W**orkforce Planning Manager **is to oversee, manage and implement workforce principles and methodologies that cater to an omni-channel environment spread across multiple sites and timezones. This role will be responsible for supporting resources and teams to deliver operational efficiencies and continuity through capacity planning, forecasting, scheduling and intraday activities.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
Forecasting and Planning:

- Effective use of WFM systems and tools to accurately project and forecast demands.
- Incorporate additional factors and various channels of intake.

Scheduling:

- Ensure employee schedules are adequate and provide sufficient coverage.
- Manage and approve/deny time-off requests without disrupting coverage and compliance with company policies.
- Assist and moderate (scheduling) conflicts, escalations and requests.

Real-time Monitoring:

- Respond and react to shift-variances including time-off requests, shift swaps, shrinkage and attrition.
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels to meet operational demands while controlling labor costs.
- Compile statistics and performance metrics related to scheduling and communicate updates with Team Leads, HR and other stakeholders.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Share observations and findings with all key stakeholders.
- Deep-dive analysis to uncover schedule deficiencies and root-cause.
- Formulate strategies and plans for mitigation.

Compliance and Regulations:

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to scheduling, overtime, breaks, and rest periods.
- Promote fair and equitable scheduling practices that take into account employee preferences and minimize unfair treatment.

Team Management:

- Regular check-ins and 1:1's
- Performance management and goal-setting

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. (Or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in scheduling, project management, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard Workforce management systems
- Translates functional plans into operational processes and guides execution. Determines resources to meet schedules and goals for objective-based assignments.
- Partners with key contacts outside their own area of expertise and other external stakeholders
- Works well under pressure, performs and coordinates multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
