**We are hiring a Safety Compliance Assistant for a 16-week term position to work in our Edmonton office. Hybrid work may be considered upon completion of training. Applicants available for full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (30 hours per week) will be considered.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Safety and Compliance Assistant will provide safety-centric administrative support for all TRAXX Holdings Inc. (THI) compliance requirements, safety programs and industrial operations, specifically focusing on the CNRL project. This position will enable streamlined administration within the Safety and Excellence Team.

**KEY **RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Areas of Focus (Task List)**
- Compliance with driver's license renewals and processing
- Motive ELD profiles administration (maintain database with employee information)
- US Department of Transportation (US DOT) Drug & Alcohol Testing Program Pre-Employment Testing & Processing
- Support random testing and processing administration
- SiteDocs profiles administration (add/terminate employees in the safety system)
- Incident investigation support
- Industrial contracts (CNRL) onboarding administration pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Maintain staff safety certifications
- Coordinate worksite orientations
- Operational administration safety document administration
- Support, create and distribute safety-centric Employee Communications

**QUALIFICATIONS **AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Co-op students enrolled in Business, Workplace Safety, or Administration are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience working in a professional office environment or trades/logistics environment is considered an asset.
- Previous experience working with safety compliance and safety reporting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail, with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
