**Job Summary**:
The Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager and working closely with other accounting staff. This person will be involved in the processing of day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain excellent relationship with external vendor and internal operational staff.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain account master data in the ERP, creating new account, make modifications as needed.
- Performing full cycle AP in the system of all kinds of POs, which includes obtaining and verifying invoices, posting them into the system, making payments according to the company policies.
- Process weekly payment in the system (cheque run, EFT payment and wire transfer etc.)
- Review, analyze Accounts Payable aging report and reconciliation the corresponding. accounts on a periodic basis including inter-company accounts.
- Reconciliation of relevant bank and credit card accounts.
- Download information from bank portal to review the bank transactions and follow-up with the concerned persons to resolve issues, if any.
- Reconcile and post the customer payments, returns, verify with the corresponding department, and clear the open items from customer sub-ledger once reconciled.
- Co-ordination with the respective person in the warehouse to confirm timely recording of customer returns.
- Communicate and follow-up with the stakeholders (both internal and external) with regards to AP, AR, inter-company transactions.
- Assist with month-end / year-end accruals and audits.
- Any other relevant tasks as assigned by management over the period upon mutual agreement.

**Requirements**:
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)**
- Degree in Accounting (or equivalent) preferred
- SAP ERP experience is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadline
- A team player who works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive working environment

**Background Experiences**
- 3-5 years of experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, collections, and general accounting.
