What you can expect to be doing when you start with the Prestige team:
**Your first 60-days on the job**:

- You will get to know your team very well. Our team and company thrive on efficiencies, and although we are not perfect, we are always looking for ways to improve.
- You will understand our production system well, ensuring you are not just successful yourself but also working with your teammates to ensure they are.
- Your focus will be on achieving exceptional quality standards but completing work on time while always keeping health and safety in mind.

**The following 90-days on the job**:

- You are now well versed with our production system.
- You are comfortable working in your area but just as pleased supporting other work areas as required.

You are consistently completing your tasks successfully, basing your success on the following:
1. High-Quality Standards.

2. Timely Completion of Work.

3. Superb Focus on Health and Safety Standards.

If the above appeals to you personally and professionally, please make sure you can successfully demonstrate the following:

- Operate woodworking machines (CNC, Dowling machines etc.) and use hand tools to cut, shape and form wood.
- Fit parts together using glue and clamps.
- Reinforce joints using nails or screws.
- Trim joints.
- Mark outlines or dimensions on wood.
- Interpret drawings or blueprints
- Cut resources down to size as needed.
- Gather the elements of each cabinet and assemble the final product.
- Inspect each completed item, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Finally, do you have the following qualification and experience?
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 6 years experience as a custom Cabinet Maker.
- Successfully demonstrated experience in being able to review renderings and being able to pull key insights from these renderings.
- Successfully demonstrated experience in drawing more profound and intuitive conclusions from a drawing that may not be considered at first glance.
- Successfully demonstrated experience in intimately understanding what tasks need to be completed and in the appropriate order to bring the job and to draw to life.
- Successfully demonstrated experience in being able to interpret complex drawings and convert your understanding of these complexities into a practical action plan on how to build the end product.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift to 50 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$29.00 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Custom Cabinet Maker: 6 years (required)
