Product Specialist

**Product**
- Promote BMW product line; provide professional, timely, and thorough service.
- Upgrade knowledge of BMW products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by attending appropriate educational courses.
- Develop and maintain full knowledge of all products, available services, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors.
- Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations

**Personnel**
- Report to the Senior Business Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis.
- Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals
- Attend sales and daily delivery meetings

**Transactions**
- Ensure regular use of follow-up systems to increase BMW Grand River business.
- Maintain adequate records as required on all delivery activities including follow-up into necessary systems.
- Must follow customer communication guidelines pre and post delivery.
- Achieve high ratings of ESA activations and "Mapping and Apping" requirements.

**Customer Relations**
- Use a planned delivery presentation designed to achieve maximum results for customer knowledge and experience of their new BMW or MINI.
- Foster a customer-centered service philosophy and team approach by cooperating with all other departments and personnel
- Contribute to achievement of maximum customer retention through the above and effective delivery and handover of vehicles; this process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
- Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are handled/resolved to achieve customer and company requirements; advise sales manager to ensure appropriate action is taken.

**Other**
- Full participation and support of dealership QMA Program; ensuring processes are followed.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.

**Health & Safety**
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the regulations
- Comply with all BMW Grand River’s Health & Safety rules and procedures and its supporting programs for performing work in a safe and healthy manner
- Report promptly to the supervisor(s) any observed contravention of the OHS Act or regulations, or of the rules and procedures developed and its supporting programs, or any workplace hazard which you are aware
- Refrain from any activity which may jeopardize the health and safety of yourself and others

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
