**General Responsibilities**:

- Pitch original story ideas, projects and exclusives
- Write entertainment

- Monitor news for ideas on issue-oriented lifestyles features and explainer pieces

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Journalism degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience working in a real-time, digital newsroom
- Familiarity with CP Stylebook and Caps and Spelling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to edit and improve colleagues’ work on short notice
- Solid news judgment
- Superior research skills
- Proven skills in using social media as a newsgathering tool

Nous recherchons une personne autonome qui déborde d'idées de reportages et qui est prête à couvrir tous les aspects de la culture - des tendances technologiques à la dynamique générationnelle et aux questions parentales. La personne sera tout aussi à l'aise pour traiter les dernières nouvelles en matière de divertissement que pour rédiger des documentaires sur les mouvements sociaux ou la crise de l'accessibilité financière.

Cette personne a l'esprit d'équipe, connaît le CP Stylebook, possède une expérience de révision et un portfolio impressionnant.

**Responsabilités générales**:

- Proposer des idées originales de reportage, des projets et des exclusivités
- Rédiger des nouvelles et des documentaires sur des sujets concernant la culture et le divertissement
- Trouver des experts et des gens ordinaires pour illustrer les reportages
