**Your opportunity**:
Working under the general direction of the Associate Director, Student Success and reporting to the Lead, Systems and Data Management, the Systems and Data Management Officer will provide systems support for the CLNx (Career and Co-Curricular Learning Network), data management, user training, and reporting for the St. George Campus. The Officer, working within a team, will configure system modules, assign roles and permissions, import student accounts, collect and update data for dynamic cubes managed by the Lead, develop CLNx reports, and provide departmental reporting on usage. The Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the CLNx, respond to user issues/bugs, as well as training new users on the system. The Officer, working with the Lead, will consult with partners to understand their system and reporting needs, determine the appropriate modules and configuration or reports required. The incumbent will develop system documentation, training modules and provide system demos. The Officer will backfill for the Lead as required, and update content on the system.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Testing new software configurations
- Facilitating focus group meetings with clients to determine needs
- Drafting and editing training content
- Training end-users on procedures and the use of IT supported systems

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years related experience
- Previous experience training co-workers on complex systems
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining complex administrative and database systems
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data, developing info graphics, and reports required
- Demonstrated experience managing large complex projects involving technology
- Experience working with databases, user experience, and/or logic trees
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (must be able to set-up templates and macros in Word and Excel, set-up Excel spreadsheets including formulas, and preparing sophisticated PowerPoint presentations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Access and other database software such as StarRez, Tableau and Cognos Cubes
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
- Must be flexible and adaptable with a high level of initiative and results orientation
- Demonstrated integrity, professional maturity, judgement, tact, diplomacy, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, with a proactive solution focus
