**ABOUT US**
**RECRUITMENT MANAGER POSITION**
While our summer camps are seasonal, this position is a full-time, year-round position based out of our head office in Burlington, Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Recruitment Manager, along with your team, will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment of all summer day camp staff in 100+ locations across 6 provinces.
**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee and train a team of Recruitment Coordinators to fill 300+ seasonal vacancies across the country
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Participate in full-cycle recruitment including:
- Creating/updating job postings for Camp Counsellors, Supervisors, Regional Coordinators, CITs (Counsellors-in-Training) and Volunteers
- Scheduling and conducting interviews, reviewing resumes, pre-screening applicants
- Preparing and issuing employment contracts
- Developing a contingency plan for replacing staff
- Manage the applicant tracking system, establishing appropriate metrics
- Participate in and conduct training sessions for all staff
- Support staff and manage the ongoing employee engagement process
- Assist with other departments where necessary (customer service, marketing, general office administration)
- Generate post-season reports for annual review and achievement of target metrics
- Develop weekly schedules for sites across the country
- Implement and promote all company policies, procedures, culture, vision, values and goals
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment or human resources
- Strong and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management, decision-making, problem solving, and computer skills
- Experience and ability to lead and develop staff
- Relationship building skills, including team building, conflict resolution & negotiation
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours
**WHY JOIN US**
We are a small office in Burlington with a team of 4 - 5 full time, year round staff and an additional 8 - 10 seasonal staff from January to September. During the months of September to December, we are focused on our strategic and tactical planning for the next season. From January until June, the focus will be on recruiting, interviewing, hiring summer camp staff for all locations. During the summer months of June to August, the focus is on training, allocating and supporting camp staff while also finding replacement staff to fill voids left by those that do not finish the season through.
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
